Hey there, thanks for checking out my Portfolio-Website.
As you know have seen some (or maybe all) of the projects I've worked on over the years, I just wanted to write a few words about myself.
Currently I live and work from in a small town called Grossheubach, which is located in the north of Bavaria(Germany) near Aschaffenburg(about 35min) and not far away from Frankfurt(Main)(about 1h ).
I got a Bachelor of Arts in Directing Movie and TV content from Macromedia University in Cologne. After graduating I got really interested in Visual FX and slightly changed direction, but plan on using all my knowledge on future film projects of mine - which was one of the main reasons in doing the "switch".
In 2011 I got the opportunity to work as a Digital Compositor on the German Indie Horror Movie Bela Kiss Prologue which was released in January 2013 and also found its way to cinemas around the globe.
Since 2016 I mostly work for Core Pictures located in Osnabrück, Germany, as a freelance visual effects and motion graphics artist and editor. Here I've worked with and learned from really talented artists on some cool projects, you probably have seen on the portfolio site.
In addition I still study at fxphd, School of Motion, Greyscalegorilla Plus and read/watch as much as possible about the craft of filmmaking/VFX/Motion Design just to stay up-to-date in this ever changing industry.
Mountainbiking, Handball, our 4 cats, science, astronomy, budism, politics, the environment/climate change, veganism... are just some of the things I'm into and use my spare time for.
