Day 57
We had such a nice sunny day today so I went outside and took some pictures. When the sun set it was just astonishing. I just stiched the brackets together and I got this amazing panorama without altering the colors at all. I think the original one is about 8k so I had to shrink it down to better fit it on the website.
Some other ones, including one amazing picture of the moon I took, can be found here https://www.behance.net/gallery/Der-Himmel-ueber-GroSSheubach/8422165?h_tk=1
Day 58
As I didn't have too much time to create something completely new (I did some tests for my animated Christmas Card) I revisted my Moon scene and did some research to get real world data to make it more realisitic. I still have so much to do to keep me busy for some time, but it is getting better :-)
Day 59
I did some more tests for my christmas card animation and rendered the first frame out of it. I might tweak some things further but I think I'll go with it.
Day 60
As I was watching the re-run of LOST in german television yesterday night, I came across their running gag and decided to turn it into a 3d render.
The left snowman was part of my first paid 3d job I did last year. It is funny to open old projects and disect them to see what you would do different. Back then I used Blender but now I exported a FBX model of it and did everything in C4d
Day 61
I found this free PlayStation4 model on the internet and decided to light and render it. I don't have one yet for myself and don't think that Santa will bring me one this year but maybe it will end up under your christmas tree :-)
Day 62
Just a quick render I did using my new copy of X-Particles for C4d and it's skinner object to create an exploding fluid. I think I will have a lot of fun in the future with this powerful particle system :-)
Day 63
To get my friends on Fb a last minute Christmas Idea I created this 3d render. Hopefully some of them will consider it and give their loved ones a copy of the movie I've worked on.
