Day 311-312
To show a co-worker of mine some of the compositing possibilies with object-mattes I've created this render using a really nice model from the PixelLab. But I've altered and changed most of the textures as well as the lighting to make it a bit more unique ;-)
Day 313
But not only pictures during sunshine can be nice also after a rainy afternoon things can look interessting.
Day 314-315
The last weeks I've looked into how Houdini can benefit my workflow in creating simulations but this time I've used TurbulenceFD for CInema4d to compare the 2. I haven't worked with it a lot before (and own only the test version, this is also the case why you see a watermark on the render) so it was interessting to see which is easier to learn and get great results. Right now TFD is way more intuitive for someone how hasn't done many sims before. I think as soon as I have a bit money left I will incorporate both into my daily workflow.
still some details missing but I didn't want to crank up the settings to high yet as it takes time to sim and my graphics card hasn't to much ram to support it
not really realistic but looks interessting
Day 316-317
Nothing new for those 2 days :-(
I've also decided to go on with this project after those first 365 days are over, but as I noticed that it isn't always possible for me to come up with something new or even get something done in time I will probably alter the format and go for a weekly submission where I have more time to try out things and even make small project (something I have considered a few month back).
